April 17: The Spanish Magazine Voz Populi published a piece on the NeuroMorpho.org project, featuring Dr. Ruben Armananzas.
NeuroMorpho.org, now ten years old, is a large repository of digital neurons, in which scientists from up to 278 laboratories worldwide share the data obtained in their research. Users can reconstruct the morphology of neurons of up to 40 animal species. As Dr. Armananzas puts it: “Anyone can download the neurons of a fly, a giraffe and even a Siberian tiger.”
