MISSION

Purpose

In keeping with the mission of the AALRC, we are currently involved in cross sectional longitudinal phonemic awareness/reading studies. EEG/ERP and psychometric data will be studied to identify pre, post, and follow-up differences resulting from the interventions. Our purpose is to identify instructional approaches that produce significant reading improvement and brain wave pattern changes of low readers so they more closely resemble those of expert readers.
