Mission

The Adolescent and Adult Learning Research Center was initiated in the fall of 1998 with a mission to foster multidisciplinary research that bridges the gap between education and neuroscience. Its purpose is to produce original research and to study the application of neuroscientific research to the classroom. Toward this end, psychologists, educators, physicists, physiologists, electrical engineers, computer technologists, and neuroscientists develop materials and/or work directly with local school divisions to conduct school-based research with teachers and students.
